I was asked to do a square four tier cake but the bride really wants 250 servings. I have looked at all kinds of serving charts but can't figure out how to do this. Any ideas?
well give her the number of servings closest to 250, like a 6 in. serves about 8 and even if they want 4 servings or 7 servings they have to order a 6 in. get it?
8" - 32 servings
10" - 50 servings
12" - 72 servings
14" - 98 servings
TOTAL: 252 servings based on 1" x 2" slices
I've found the Wilton charts to be spot on.
As Indydebi would say... it's easy with squares, do the math.
If you don't believe the Wilton wedding cake serving chart, count the slices!
