Is it possible that royal icing was used and then "blown" or "squirted" by a light burst of air to bend the tips over. I have seen a few videos where heavy whipped cream was used to decorate a cake and then blasts of air where used to create "cavities" within the whipped cream so to speak. I don't know, just a possibility.

It looks too perfect to be blown. It really does look like he extruded it and put them on individually. I tried yesterday to see if he might of cut the gumpaste with a blade but even that didnt work. I would really love to see this done! I wish there was a way to contact him!

Oh my God this is so amazing! I don't know how the fur is made...it looks like individual strands but I doesn't look like piped royal icing.
