I have an oportunity to establish my first partnership with a local hotel to provide the wedding cakes for their package wedding deals. They currently offer wedding cakes starting at $5.00 per serving. I start at $3.00 per serving, but I plan to raise my price to 3.50 per serving due to an increase in rent and other costs. I have not yet seen what they consider to be a $5.00 per serving cake. I am currently working on some cake package deals for a few different price ranges. Does anyone have any advice for entering into an agreement and pricing? I want to be sure I still make a fair profit. Thanks in advance.
