Should the color of the butter cream match the color of the fondant? I'm not sure if the BC should remain white or should i color it to match the fondant. icon_redface.gif

Hi there. In my opinión you do not have to color your BC cause it will be covered in fondant .

Although I Did have an insident where i had made a red fondant covered cake And i had colored my BC red as Well ( dont know why I never color my BC ) Well my fondant tore And BC was peeping a bit ( I also believe it tore cause my BC want crusting And I put too much ). but it didnt look too bad because it was the same color.

Theres really no visual/appearance reason why you would need to color your BC. As ayerim mentioned your BC will be covered by the fondant.
