So I have to make a shark cake...very small...for like 4-5 people. I was thinking about using Wilton's wonder mold and trimming it up a bit...cutting a wedge out for the shark's mouth...and putting blue icing on the cake board so it looks like the shark's head is coming up out of the water. Do you think that will work? Any other ideas??

I think this would work if you carved a pointed nose as well as the opening of the mouth. Your other option would be to make the head out of fondant covered Rice Krispy Treat and put it on a small cake in the same manner. You could decorate the cake as the ocean. This way, you'd get more than one shot at carving the shark head. icon_smile.gif
