I have to make a cake filled with strawberries and bananas. Is it ok to make it 2 datys in advance and put in refrigerator? I dont want the bananas to go brown. yuck!
I don't know scientifically if it would be OK, but I wouldn't do fresh fruit more than 1 day in advance and I try to do them in the same day if at all possible.
I would think that if you put the cake in the fridge, that might speed up the browning of the bananas. I wouldn't do it.
