I\\ve done some research on the net.But find conflicting techniques.
What is the best result,

Here is a tutorial: http://cakecentral.com/articles/76/how-to-make-realistic-edible-butterflies

I can't say what is the best way of how to make them. Think of it like smoothing buttercream, so many different techniques, but what works for some, may not work for all.

I will mention to keep them away from water or water based things like edible glue. It will eat/melt the paper.
