Cake With Fruit Swirl

I have an order for a white cake with a fruit swirl in it. I'm not sure what to do exactly. Does anyone have a recipe? What kind of fruit (jam, sleeved fruit) works for the swirl? Would the cake have to be refrigerated once baked if it has a fruit swirl?
