I want to print some coloring book images that are on the internet and color them in (edible frosting and food markers). They are generic images, no cartoons. None of the photos have copyright stamps on them. Nowhere on the site does it say you cant copy the image. Can I use these on a cake?

(When I search copyright in forums, every page on this site is broken with a 404 error message/ page not found. Whats up with that?!)

essentially, if you didn't create the design, it belongs to someone else - whether there is a copyright symbol or statement or not.

You might want to just contact the place you saw the picture and ask permission - a lot of times it's really easy!
