I used Satin Ice white/vanilla for the first time. I am new to using fondant. The finished cake looked ivory instead of white. Any suggestions?

It may have been the natural oil from your hands that caused that to happen. I read a post on here the other day, and they said to wipe it with shortening. Using a VERY thin layer. Not sure if that works, I haven't had the problem myself, but good luck. Maybe somebody else will have come better advice?

Thank you! After I posted this I remembered that it also happened when I used Wilton fondant on a cake I was practicing with.
