just wondered what recipe you use for 3d cakes? I am making a 3d cake this weekend and want to make sure I do it right! Thanks!
I use the mix extender recipe on this site called "Durable Cake Extender Recipe for 3-D and Wedding Cakes" (or something like that) which works well for carving and everyone loves the taste.
the WASC cakes hold up real well to carving, also a cake that has butter instead of oil has (for me) tended to hold up better when edges are taken off while carving.
