Please Help! Cake Not Cooking. :(

First ever event cake using a recipe that went extremely well on my first trial. It's a white chocolate mud cake and has been cooking for two hours which is the recommended time. I've tested it, but it has formed an almost candy shell crust on top and the insides are still goo!

The only difference from the first time I used this recipe is that I am using a different tin (the first was springform, this is aluminium) and I have wrapped it with a damp teatowel to stop it doming.

Please offer any advice? I'm starting to fret like mad. icon_cry.gif


350g butter, chopped
180g white chocolate, chopped
590g caster sugar
375ml milk
300g cups plain flour
100g self-raising flour
3 eggs, lightly beaten
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
