Hello CCers! I was wondering if anyone could tell me if I can freeze my left over cream cheese frosting that is made with whipping cream? I have a ton of both vanilla and chocolate left over from a couple of cakes that I did this past weekend...yes I am still not very good at judging my quantities of icing to make a cake...I would hate to waste it all.....sure can't eat it all (yes there is THAT much left over). Please help?!
I can't see why it couldn't be frozen, but with whipping cream in it it may go flat on thawing - not sure how well it would re-whip(?) Definitely worth a try though if it's only going to be thrown out otherwise.
