I love to use the IMB but I find that after whipping it into a nice, white and smooth buttercream it then turns back into the color of butter. Also after refrigerating and then trying to smooth, it streaks what looks like yellow and white streaks. Very frustrating as I really like the taste of this. I have not seen this problem addressed in any of the forums and I do not like the bc made with crisco and pdr sugar.
This is the issue I had with IMBC..Love the texture and taste but can't get past that yellow hue of butter.It also doesn't take color very well.
