My son's birthday is coming up, he's turning two. I love doing whimsical, character cakes for my kids. This little guy doesnt recognize any characters though. He has a SERIOUS sugar addiction- any ideas for a cute, 1 tier cake?

What toys does he favor? That would be the only thing I could think of if he doesn't recognize any kids characters. If you like whimsical do a cake that looks like it was cut into (there is one on the home page just up loaded) in "boy colors". HTH!

Thanks- that cake actually gave me an idea, maybe do one of those cakes that have wafers around it with m &m's in the middle- he won't appreciate any piping skills or fondant work But he'll spot a candy from a mile away! Any other ideas using candies on the cake?
