Hi everyone,
Im really hoping some of you out in cyberspace can come to my aid. I have been asked to source and judge the childrens cake competition for ages 5-11. its not being held until the late spring but I need to find 3 maybe 4 recipies that I can set as the standard cake for each of the years to make, obviouly with different skill levels. I did think that for the infants they could make something really simple like the old fave rice crispie cakes and maybe get them to decorate as spiders etc. But then I'm stuck. I need recipies that can ber done without too much decoration and that I can hopefully tell without poisoning myself whether there good or not. Any ideas would be greatfully recieved.
Thanks

This website has easy cake recipes for kids that aren't just plain vanilla or chocolate.

If you had somewhere to keep them cold, you could have the older ones make an oreo ice cream cake. There are tons of videos on youtube of how to make them. Hope that helps!
