I've ssen a lot of discussion on whether to buy a 2 inch or 3 inch cake pan. I'm just starting out and have a small place to store the pans. Could I use 3 " pans to also bake a 2 inch high cake, by just not filling it as high?

Thanks for the quick response. Well, I think I will buy the 3 inch pans then, as I then have the option of doing either a 2 or a 3 inch.
Thanks so much for sharing, folks.
