I'm making my very first shoe & shoe box tomorrow and I watched Anne's from Pink Cake Box tutorial on Youtube on how to make it, but she didn't state how to with the fondant.
Annes said on her tutorial to get a very clean & neat finish to her shoe box she cuts and freezes the correct size of fondant needed in 4 panels for the sides then just sticks them on. I also saw her do this on The Ultimate Cake Off the other night on Foxtel.
But my question is how do I actually freeze the fondant - does it need wrapped up, how long will it need to freeze, how thick should the fondant be - blah blah,
can anyone please assist me.
