Customer Found Price To Expensive....

icon_redface.gif Good evening, I would like to know if, I'm over charging? Customer just calls for a 2 Tier cake and for 70 people. Wants a Wedding figure on top and about 6 flowers...I told her fondant $4.00, Beside the flowers and she buys the figure. So, What you think.... icon_cry.gif Am I charging too much. Thanks for looking and responding...

Not at all! My wedding cakes start at $3.50 per person for basic buttercream, go up from there depending on fondant, detail, or flavors. She'll call around and get a dose of reality icon_wink.gif

it all depends on your area really. most people calling around like that think it's going to be grocery store prices...what she may not realize that supplies cost more for specialty made cakes. there is a lot of educating our customers when they call us.

how do you feel about your pricing? do you feel like your skill level reflects your price?
