I LOVE framboise lambic beer. Has anyone ever tried doing a framboise frosting (with the actual beer, not just with raspberries). I was thinking of just doing a vanilla buttercream and adding some of the framboise but I dont know if the taste will be too subtle? Ive done it with the Baileys Irish Creme but thats definitely a stronger more pronounced flavor. Any ideas?

You could try boiling it to reduce it to a syrupy consistency, and it will strenghen the flavor. Then add it to your BC.

Can you add it to a raspberry puree and then add it to a buttercream? Also, the cooked sugar buttercreams are more subtle and allow the flavorings, especially spirits and fruit, to take center stage.
