Hi everyone! It's been a while since I've been on the forum.

I was curious how everyone stuck there dragess on a fondant covered cake? I've seen some that are there as opposed to putting RI dots on and I really like the look. But how do you make them stick without making a mess? A big glop of RI will show so I didn't think that was it. Can you just wet it a bit?

I did a under sea type cake andused them for bubbles... but I did it with RI and like I said it was like a big glop no matter how little I put on it.

So any tips would be much appreciated!

Thank you!

I did this for the first time the other day on a dummy I had the same concern as you. I was so relieved when I just put a dad of water with the brush and pushed the dragee on. It works fine they havent fallen off. Just give it a try. HTH

I use the rounded tip of a veining tool to make a little shallow indentation in the fondant then dab on a tiny bit of water and put the dragee in the dent. Works like a charm!
