I am going to attempt quilling on a cake and am wondering if there is a tutorial out there that demonstrates this with Fondant and or Gumpaste?

I have seen it with paper but it isn't exactly the same (Sugar won't unravel like paper). After much seraching and reading several threads I can't seem to find anything that really explains or shows how to do this w/ our medium.

If anyone could help I'd greatly appreciate it.

If you look in Collette Peters books, she does a lot of quilling and shows how it's done. It's actually very easy to do with fondant -- first you roll it out thin, then cut strips then (using a basic quilling for paper book) make your patterns. If you don't want the thin strips, use skinny fondant snakes.
