I am thinking of doing some fondant vertical pleating going around a round wedding cake (like those seen on page 71 of the September issue of Cake central magazine).
I could really use some advice on the best way to get this done.
Geraldine Randlesome has a pleater she uses ~ she is also doing a demonstration at the 2011 ICES Convention in August. Here is a link to her website and the pleaters: http://www.creativecutters.com/index.php?option=com_simpleshop&Itemid=42&task=search
I've never used it, but the pictures look really cool! HTH!

Here is the page. The pleaters are great. I have been to one of her demos.
Hi, here is one way it is done. Then, another way, is roll your medium thin, place dowels under it and squeeze together. let set up for a minute or two and then place this on your cake. Then make enough to go all around your cake. Tuck in your edges. will try to find tutorial on it.hth

Thanks so much for all the help so far. I really appreciate it. If anyone comes across a video of this technique please post the link. Thanks for the pics too. I seem to be more of a visual learner
