I have a cake due next weekend, and the client wants a bavarian cream filling. I bought some at a local cake store a few months ago for another cake. I had a package left over, but there's no expiration date. Is this something that expires? I have no problem buying more, but I'd rather not waste this is it is useable. Does anyone know?

That stuff could probably withstand nuclear fallout, and will be what we survive on when Armageddon comes. Therefore, it's probably not even really food.
