I want to make sugar glue, I saw a recipe on youtube by annie2 it called for 1/4 tsp Tylose Powder and 2 Tblsp warm water.

I don't have Tylose Powder, can I use Gum Tex instead??

any help would be greatly appreciated, Thank you.

I used watered down corn syrup - worked like a charm on fondant!

Take a marble sized piece of gumpaste, dissolve it in 1/4 cup warm water.

I've also used 1 tbps meringue powder dissolved in 1 tbsp water.

Agree with Artscallion, take a bit of premade gumpaste and drop it in a little bit of water. Give it 10 minues and you have glue.
