I am finally investing in an edible printer! I've been doing research on line and I believe Canon brand printers are the most recommended. Other posts mentioned the Epson Workforce 1000. I am a bit overwhelmed at the model numbers. I don't mind spending the money, so long as it has a high print quality, with the least amount of maintenance. Does anyone have advice for me to narrow my list? Do I really need a scanner or can I just connect to my PC with a usb cable?

I think the best printer for your money and color picture performance is the Canon IP 3600.Any of the Epsons do not have a removable prnthead so if you get a clog you can't clean it or fix it.With Canon you can remove the printhead and clean it out.I would invest in a Canon.

Debbie would be so proud of me...HEE! HEE!

Thanks for the advice. I did read somewhere else that the ip 3600 is really good. Any other tips on performance, maintenance, or frosted sheets?
