How do I cover a fondant cake with this? I cant seem to attach an image to this post... but you can find a shot of the desired look here:

Cover the cake in fondant, then spread icing gel on it and covering with the crystal-look sanding sugar

Last fall I made a wedding cake that had sugared globe grapes on them. In desperation I called the cake store and was told to use slightly beaten egg whites to get the sugar to stick to the grapes. I should have asked here first. Piping gel sounds like a better idea.
