Hi all. I am new here. I am making a cake for a young girl and her "superstar" party. I want to put her name in lights, but am having a hard time finding super small lights that dont have feet of wire to hide. Anyone have any ideas?

Punch holes in foam board in the shape of her name. Then place a light in each hole drom the back of the board towards the front.

I have found lights at Wal-Mart. Small, Bullet shaped but they are pricey. I think they work out to be $2 per.

Hey there,

I found battery operated LED lights at the local Party City store9near the balloons section) or at michaels (in the wedding section). They are like the ones in my snowflake topper(I show a close up in 2 of the pics). they came 12 to a box for around $10.

good luck- I hope you have one of these stores near you(I would cut out bubble tea straws and inset them in them inthe shape of the name you want to light up. In theory sounds like it would work.

Thanks! trish
