Does anyone know of any cake competitions in these states this year??? I have been goggle searching and nothing. I am really interested but can't figure out how to find one. I have tried searching Cake competitions, cake decorating competitions, and cake contests and absolutely no hits.

There was one in TN in 2009. Last year, they said they were going to host it but had to cancel it. At the time, they said they were planning to have it in April 2011. I'm not sure if they are or not - but I would love to know. I'm planning to call and ask if they are going to be putting it on. www.Sweetwise.com is the one who put the show on.

There is on in KY this year. I want to say north of Lexington, KY this year. It's in May.

And last year there was on in Miamisburg, OH. I'm not sure if they are planning to host it again or not. I think IndyDebi was a judge last year - so she might have some info about whether or not they are going to be holding it this year.

It's probably not too late for the State Fairs. ICES will be in Charlotte, NC August 3-7. No competition there, but there will be a lot of cakes on display.
