I'm currently in the market for a Canon Edible Image Printer and I'm not quite sure which would be best to purchase. This is the first time I'm purchasing such a printer and I'm not quite certain which would provide the clearest images and which would be the easiest to find edible ink for. Any suggestions??

check out www.icingimages.com and www.kopykake.com to find out what canon's you can purchase edible cartridges for. Not all cannons have cartridges available.

The Canon ip3600 and Canon mp560 are the best availble edible printers. WIth the gold label ink you cant go wrong!

Debbie,I bought the cannon ip3600 at your suggestion and its been working well with the gold ink, no clogging yet. My questions is how do i set it to print on the legal size paper? This is the size i like to use most of the time. I bought a pack of 8.5*11 inch on 1/26 and the lady i spoke to was going to send a sample of the legal size one with my package so i can trouble shoot on my own before buying, but none came with the package.

I have had Canons and Epsons. I and just replaced a Canon with an Epson Workforce 1100. We wanted a large format printer and the 1100 can print the 1/2 sheet size edible image. The print quality is awesome. No problems. It was an expensive printer, but with the capability to do the 1/2 sheets, it was worth it!
