My friend wants a zebra cake and also polka dots, but she doesn't need a large cake. Anyone have any pics of single layer cakes that incorporate both designs? I found a few in the galleries, but wanted some different ideas to give to her. Thanks!

What about doing a square cake and doing the zebra stripe on the sides and have it wrap up and over the edges almost like a picture frame. do a square panel on the top that has the polka dots in it and trim the edge of the panel in a dot border.

or do an all over zebra print, but the zebra stripes are made up of varying sizes of small dots close together?

How about a polka dot cake with a zebra print loopy bow? It's really easy to paint stripes on a bow after it's dry.

Thanks for the ideas, mamabaer and texasrose! The birthday girl decided that a ball type border around a zebra print cake would be fine!
