hi, my sister, who lives in oceanside, wants me to do my niece's wedding cake.
for the icing, do the stores there carry trans fat shortening? and if so, where do you find it? thanks.

I am in Orange County which is about an hour north of Oceanside. I can only find Hi Ratio Shortening with the trans fat at two cake stores here - ABC and Calico Cake Shop. I think Orange Novelty would order it for me but I haven't seen it there. I would look for a bakery/cake store in the area. I have never seen it in grocery stores here.
