What am I doing wrong here?

I bought the Spinning Leaf heart mould for Oreo cookies.

I handpainted all the little hearts (took forever) with pink candy melts. Then when they were set, I poured in the chocolate - just warm (not hot) so the hearts wouldn't melt (as per the instructions).

I let them set on the counter for about 1/2 an hour until they'd set up and then chilled in the fridge for about 10 minutes. I flipped the mould over and gently pressed on the top to get the cookies out.

Well, the cookies came out but all the hearts stayed in the mould. What a waste of an hour that was!!! icon_mad.gif Not to mention that I now have six cookies that I have to eat!

Any ideas on what I may have done wrong?

It sounds like the hearts got too hard first and they didn't bind together with the chocolate.I wouldn't wait that long between colors..Do the hearts..pop them in the fridge for 2-3 minutes and the pour the chocolate. It should work..I have have great success with spinning leaf molds.
