Oh it is heavenly!! The texture, the taste.. I am so in love.
I am a hard core fan of the Sugarshack recipe, but wanted to try something more sophisticated, less sweet so FINALLY took the plunge tonight & made my first batch of SMBC. I don't know why I was so nervous, it's actually quite simple. I used Toba Garrett's recipe but cut the butter from 3 to 2 lbs per the reviews. It would be so perfect for a wedding cake I think. To me it tastes like vanilla ice cream. Love the silkiness so much.
Anyway, just wanted to share! Love when you try something new & it works out.
That's wonderful!!! I have a SMBC recipe that I want to try (hopefully this weekend) -- to take the plunge as it were. Glad to hear it got rave reviews!!
why can't you make this with meringue powder?
