I wanted to make a Valentine themed (reds, pinks, purples) cake and wanted to try the peanut butter buttercream while I'm at it. Any chance of getting those colors with a brown base buttercream???

maybe use the pb buttercream as a filling so u can still have the pb flavor, and use reg buttercream for frosting the outside of the cake. icon_wink.gif

If its the PB flavor you are going for, Lorann has PB flavored oil.
I use Lorann all the time to flavor my BC.
This way you avoid the "brown" from the PB.
Even IF the PB oil has some color to it, its never enough to make a difference in a Red, Pink or Purple colored icing.

I didn't think so, but thought I'd throw out there to see. Thanks for the tip about the Lorann oil. I'll have to get some.
