Do you add cream cheese to your WASC recipes. If so, does this alter the recipe in any way?

Also, how much cream cheese do you add?

I have never used cream of cheese in place of sour cream but often wondered if you could. I have done so in other recipes just because I was out of sour cream. I love both, so I would also like to know.
