Hi I am Fiona from the Isle of Skye in Scotland. I have had a request from a US bride for a pink champagne and lavender flavoured cake- 2 separate tiers,each flavour. Can anyone recommend a recipe so I can try this.
Are you looking for a scratch recipe or doctored recipe? For the champagne cake I've heard you can replace the liquid for champagne. For the lavender cake, I'm sorry I have no suggestions.

I was curious about a lavender cake so I looked up a recipe. This looks like it might serve the purpose. Has the bride actually had pink champagne and lavender cake? I wonder if she is familiar with the taste; or did it just sound exotic to her.
