I just want to make sure that I don't need to adjust anything, besides bake time, when using a cake recipe for cupcakes.
I've never done anything differently. I'm sure there are people who do, but I haven't had any problems.
I use cake recipes all the time...just bake for the alotted time for cupcakes...
Most recipes can do both, but not all.
Other than the baking time and sometimes the oven temperature, I don't change any of the recipes for making cupcakes.
I've never understood this question. I make quick breads in loaf pans or cupcake liners, cake recipes in cake pans or cupcake liners and even bread recipes into rolls. It's all the same to me.
