Hello I live in Ohio and am thinking about opening my own cake business in my small town, was wondering if you could tell me any info about the health inspector needs and any other tips about what I need to open up my business. Thanks!!! icon_biggrin.gif

Your best bet is to just call the health inspector. To get you started, it is easier to search this site through Google, rather than their search engine. Google: Ohio Cottage food cakecentral. You will still get a lot of pricing threads and non- perishable recipe requests, but those are good to read, also. I read a lot of them because I am just over the river and and I need to see what my neighbors are doing in their businesses so I can be competitive. thumbs_up.gif
