I usually use Bunnywomans (from Wilton forum) buttercream. But just bought a new book and am thinking about trying Rose Levy Beranbaum Neoclassic buttercream frosting.
Has anyone used either of these? Or perhaps someone that has used both and could tell me the difference in taste, one better?
Ingredients are expensive I really can't afford to do a test and make both.
I have tried Rose's Chocolate egg white frosting and it was very light (almost reminded me of a whipped icing instead of a buttercream.
Any info on the neoclassic would be great. It's going with a white cake with strawberry filling. She wants just regular buttercream.
No matter what anyone says - you have to do a test and see what YOU prefer - just because someone else likes green beans does not mean I do..... get it?
