I'd love to make my grandfather an Uno cake for his 80th birthday. I found one in the gallery that I liked, but I'm not sure how the creator did it. I PM'd her but I don't know if she'll reply since she only has three posts and the cake was posted in 09. Anyway, just in case she doesn't reply, can you give me some ideas/thoughts about how the cards were done?
Honestly, they almost look like real cards "glued" to gumpaste or something. Would a bakery be able to scan some real cards and print them out on edible paper? I've never had anything printed on edible paper before, so I'm not sure how that works when you try to attach it to gumpaste or fondant.
Thanks in advance for your help!
