i especially love the big white flower. my question is...does anyone know how to make a flower like that?

oh and i was also wondering how to achieve that shimmer effect on the cake. do you just brush on luster dust with lemon extract or did she do something else?

Hmmm... Beautiful cake. I'd say the back layers are gum paste - layed out to dry and then attached. The inner petals look like basic circles of gum paste. And the shimmer does look like silver lustre dust just painted on. I use Vodka.
