Hi everyone. My sister is turning 40 this Feb, and she has asked me to do a cake with Betty Boop on it. So I was wondering if anyone has a Tutorial on how to do a Betty Boop figure or chocolate image of Betty Boop. Something not to complicated. thank you birthday.gif

I made this Betty Boop cake using a CT. It was super simple.

I have a CT tutorial on that same webshots account.

I just Googled Betty Boop coloring page and picked one.

I had a betty boop cake to make a while back and so i drew inspiration from a kitagrl cake i found on here... as a total noob i had no idea how to do anything!!
all i did know was that i didn't want to attempt a 3d one, (i can copy drawings but i can't sculpt!!) because unfortunately 98% of the time, 3d figures never look quite right even done by people that have been in the trade for years and years!

so all i did was cut out her shape from gumpaste and left it to dry before filling in the colouring.
the cake was a hit with the birthday girl but i guess it depends on what you are after!!
let me know if you have any questions regarding my solution and i'll be happy to help if i can!
best of luck and be sure to post pics icon_smile.gif

Thanks for all the links. I'll let my sister choose which image she likes, and then I'll try both chocolate and gumpaste. Birthday not till mid Feb... I'll up load photos... thanks for all the help.... birthday.gif
