last night, i made and decorated a cake for a co-worker this morning. i am just realizing that i put milk in the buttercream and it's been sitting on my counter over night. (all decorated)
will this be okay? i'm hoping it didn't sour overnight, i spent 8 hours on this cake yesterday alone.
I have let my buttercream sit out for a week and it was ok. There is a post on here somewhere about how long people leave it out and the reason why it is ok. It has something to do with the fat/sugar ratio.
