I made buttercream frosting for the first time and it was too grainy, and it wasn't the taste I was looking for. Could someone tell me how to get the good smooth frosting. Can anyone give me any tips or recipes for good buttercream frosting? Thanks

you can try a cooked frosting like
SMBC (swiss meringue buttercream)
IMBC (italian meringue buttercream)
or a custard based buttercream
