I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions on how to do this. i am making a Barney cake for my daughter and am including a couple of other characters on the cake. One of them has some feathers on her head and I can't think of a way to get them to really stay soft and flowy looking.

I would appreciate any help you may have. TIA

When I made feathers for my doves I cut out small feather like shapes. Then I took my paring knife and started to score the edges all around.Lay it on a back of a spoon or something to make the shape. When it dries the edges looked somewhat frayed and feathery..They are delicate so be careful or they break easily.
