I have a wedding cake for Jan 22 and bride wants 3 tiers standing individually on the clear plastic pillar type stands. Hard to describe - the ones that you can fill with flowers, etc or leave clear. I have never used these but am finding disposable models as well as reusable models. Does anyone have any advice on which ones are the most stable? I need to purchase them this weekend and of all things, do not want my cakes to fall over!!! Thanks so much.

They can be expensive. Unless you plan on using this item again frequently enough to merit the cost, I would advise you to purchase the disposable model and charge the bride for the purchase. That way there's no rental, no worry about return, and she can do whatever she wants with it afterward.
