Is there really a difference between the different brands of pans out there (such as Wilton, Magic Line, etc)? I have a few individual pans from Wilton, and a few others but was thinking of getting one nice set of round and a nice set of square.

I'm in the same boat. After receiving feedback from other CC members, I'm going to try the Magic Line pans after I save up $$. They are supposed to have straighter edges.

Out where I live, I don't have many options but I have found Fat Daddio pans to be awesome. The squares are REALLY square with sharp corners which help with getting crisp corners. My understanding is that they are lifetime guaranteed (I don't know how I would cash in on that but they all come with a sticker). I also like that they are dishwasher safe.

I guess I haven't really noticed that much of a difference between the Wilton and the Fat Daddio but I love my 3-inch tall pans. They work the best for me. I hope that helps!
