Cinnamon Swirl Recipe From Archives Here

This recipe
calls for 1cup water AND 1cup oil. Seems like too much liquid to me. Any thoughts? Suggestions? Should I just make the cake as directed on the box (adding in the pudding, of course) and then add the cinnamon swirl bit as suggested in this recipe?
