I bought a bunch of the 4oz Americolors - like black, neon purple, orange, - and they all have a funny smell and add a weird bad taste to fondant or buttercream when I use them. Has anyone else had this problem? What brand colors do other people use - and who else makes the neon colors?

I've never had that problem with their colors. Have you tried contacting them? They will probably replace them for you.

i have been using them for years and never had that problem either...
